Emma, William remain most popular Arkansas baby names

Emma and William remain the most popular baby names in Arkansas. That's according to new state-level data released Thursday by the Social Security Administration.

In 2013, there were 193 babies born who were named William, making it again the state's most popular name. Emma held on to the top spot for girls, with 212 babies receiving the name last year.

Mason was the second-most popular boy name in Arkansas, followed by Noah, James and Elijah. Aiden, Ethan, Bentley, Jackson and Liam rounded out the top 10.

Olivia took the No. 2 spot last year for girls, followed by Ava, Isabella and Sophia. Abigail was the 6th most popular name, followed by Addison, Brooklyn, Madison and Avery.

The top names nationwide last year were Noah and Sophia.
