Arkansas homecoming
Ehron VonAllen, born and raised in the Walnut Ridge/Pocahontas area, combines choreography, theatricality and special effects with his electronic/synth music for a "homecoming" show, what he calls the prototype for his forthcoming American and European tour, in a dinner-theater setting, 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Studio for the Arts' Imperial Dinner Theatre, 1401 Arkansas 304 E., Pocahontas. Dinner starts at 6:30. The concert is considered appropriate for all ages and is being filmed for a planned DVD/Blu-ray release later this year. Dinner/show tickets are $30 (which also includes a CD), $15 for standing room (first two rows), $12 for students with ID. Proceeds benefit the theater. Arts and the Park
The Hot Springs Area Cultural Alliance, a nonprofit made up of area artists, gallery owners, arts organizations and arts supporters, will hold "Arts and the Park: Year Zero" Saturday and Sunday at various downtown Hot Springs venues.
Saturday's lineup will include 9 a.m.-4 p.m. studio tours (a list is available at hotspringsarts.org) and a 5-6:30 p.m. gallery walk in downtown galleries.
From 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, local artists will execute "Plein aire" painting at the Farmers Market and Greenway, 121 Orange St.
A Hot Springs Arts Advisory Committee docent will lead a 2:30 p.m. walking tour of the outdoor sculptures along the greenway, starting at the pavilion.

Watercolor show
Byron Taylor has 42 watercolors on display in a solo show through June 15 at River City Coffee, 2913 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock. The shop will hold a reception, 6-9 p.m. Friday with wine, coffee, tea, soft drinks and ice cream. Rena Wren will perform.

Fashion show benefit
The Promenade at Chenal, in the 17000 block of Chenal Parkway, will host the 2014 Ladies Night Out event, including the first Charity Fashion Show, 6 p.m. today. The first 100 women will receive "shopper swag bags" with coupons and beauty and home product samples. There will be a raffle to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas ($10 donation, $5 for every additional entry), hors d'oeuvres and a cocktail hour.

Bounty for survivors
Community Theater of Little Rock will continue to donate to the American Red Cross for tornado relief a portion of the proceeds from 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday performances of Horton Foote's The Trip to Bountiful at the North Little Rock High School Freshman Campus Mini-Auditorium, 2400 Lakewood Road, North Little Rock.

Historian's talk
