Primary election: What to know

Tuesday is election day in Arkansas.

The Democratic and Republican parties have primary elections, plus there's the nonpartisan judicial general election, in which a member of the Arkansas Supreme Court will be chosen.

Both primaries will select nominees for governor. Republican voters will choose nominees in the 2nd and 4th congressional districts, plus the statewide offices of lieutenant governor, attorney general, treasurer and auditor.

Voting hours are 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
