Adult website 'acquaintance' robs woman, forces her to take clothes off, police say

A man described as an "acquaintance" two women knew from an adult website demanded at gunpoint one of them take her clothes off and hand over cash, authorities said.

Meco Vontrell Howard, 26, was arrested Thursday night at the Americas Best Value Inn at 3100 Main St. in North Little Rock. He faces charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.

North Little Rock police say they were called about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to a possible robbery and then made entry into a room at the hotel after hearing screaming coming from inside.

According to an arrest report, the officers saw and took into custody a man later identified as Howard after seeing him brandishing a "large black handgun" in the room.

Investigators then spoke with two women who said Howard "was an acquaintance from an adult website" who tried to rob one of them and then pointed the gun at the other when she attempted to intervene, according to the report.

Howard forced one of the women "to take her clothes off and demanded that she give him the $50 in cash that she had on her person," police noted in the report.

Howard remained in the Pulaski County jail Thursday morning with bail not yet set. He's due in court later Thursday for an initial appearance.
