Home driven off, sold, charges say

A man accused of selling a stolen mobile home was arrested Thursday in Des Arc, police said.

Jason Curtsinger, 38, is accused of selling a mobile home not owned by him to a buyer in England for $12,500, according to a news release from the Faulkner County sheriff's office.

A mobile home was reported missing Feb. 27. Curtsinger, who owns a moving company called JT Mobile Home Services, used his crew and equipment to remove the mobile home from 6 N. Madrid Road and sold it, police said.

After investigators located the buyer of the stolen trailer, they advised the person that he had been a victim of fraud. The person was supplied with a second trailer, according to the news release.

Curtsinger was charged with theft of property and was being held in lieu of $7,500 bond at the Faulkner County jail late Friday. He also was being held for Lonoke County on other charges, the release stated.
