Pavement testing on U.S. 64 in Crittenden County will require lane closings beginning Tuesday, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
The work extending from the Cross County line to Arkansas 147 will reduce traffic to one lane daily through Friday, weather permitting. The lane closures will alternate between the eastbound and westbound lanes and shoulders, the department said.
The testing is part of the proposed project to widen U.S. 64, which is part of department's Connecting Arkansas Program.
