Air Force retirements creating defense-research brain drain

DAYTON, Ohio -- The number of scientists and engineers retiring at the Air Force's top science research agency has doubled in the past five years, leaving defense experts worried that the trend could lead to a shortage because of the growing number of highly trained workers eligible to leave.
