FILE - Riakos Lizana is escorted from Clark County Circuit Court Friday, Jan. 18, after entering an innocent plea to three counts of capital murder and one count of aggravated residential burglary.

The trial for a man accused of killing two young girls and their stepfather at their Arkadelphia home has been delayed.

Riakos Lizana's trial had been scheduled to start Wednesday and run through June 10, but a spokesman for the court said Tuesday that it was rescheduled and is now set to begin Sept. 11. It wasn't clear what prompted the delay.

Lizana is facing three counts of capital murder and one count of aggravated residential burglary in the Dec. 6, 2012, killings of Bobby Jean Galbraith, 40; Adiele Crutchfield, 6; and Marley Crutchfield, 4.

Lizana was arrested two days after the bodies were found. Police say a bloody palm print on the interior of a children's bedroom door at the home tied him to the crime.
