Hmm, the TV stations have been reporting 118 arrested during that time. I guess they were wrong.

At least there were no killings. Surprisingly.

Huh?? The article said there were 17 arrests (presumably of NON-minors) who "unknowingly" furnished alcohol to minors. Wouldn't those 17 people have to be non-minors contradicting the statement that only 9 non-minors were arrested?

Do what I did... Volunteer. You get free admission for the weekend, work in a secure area and get to watch the "diversity" of the crowd. And if you are real lucky you can get a parking ticket for parking in a non-marked No Parking zone!

Some thoughts from Memorial Day:

You can go to war and die for your country at age 18, 19 or 20 but you are not mature enough to drink a beer at Riverfest.

You can vote to elect our "leaders" at age 18, 19 or 20 but you are not mature enough to drink a beer at Riverfest.

You can enter into a binding contract at age 18, 19 or 20 but you are not mature enough to drink a beer at Riverfest.

Don't you just love our liquor laws in Arkansas.
