Man found dead in NLR house identified

Authorities have identified a man found dead Tuesday by his brother at a North Little Rock house.

North Little Rock police Sgt. Brian Dedrick said the body of 42-year-old Corey Renard Britt was sent to the state Crime Laboratory for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Police said Tuesday that Britt appeared to have been shot. In a news release Wednesday, Dedrick said Britt had "trauma consistent with a homicide."

Britt was found by his brother about 5:45 p.m. at 606 Rose Lane, where Britt lived, Dedrick said.

No arrests have been made. Police are asking anyone with information to call (501) 680-8439.
