Republican Senate hopeful Tom Cotton's campaign says he's hosting a free concert featuring country music star Jo Dee Messina in downtown El Dorado next week.
Cotton's campaign announced Wednesday that Messina will headline a free concert on June 6 at the corner of Elm and North Jefferson streets. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m.
The concert is being held after a private fundraising reception with Messina at the Granite Club in El Dorado. Donors can host the reception with a $1,000 contribution to Cotton's campaign or sponsor it with a $500 contribution. Donors will receive VIP seating at the concert.
Cotton, a freshman congressman representing south Arkansas' 4th District, is challenging Democratic Sen. Mark Pryor.
