A police car sits behind a school bus after a hit-and-run accident Thursday morning in Little Rock.

Authorities are searching for a van that hit a school bus in Little Rock and then fled the scene Thursday morning.

It happened about 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of Geyer Springs and Young roads.

Little Rock Police Department Lt. Sidney Allen said the gray van hit the bus and then fled east on Young Road. It had not been found as of 8:30 a.m.

Three students and the driver were on board the Little Rock School District bus and were not injured. The ages of the students and the school where the bus was headed weren't immediately known.

The bus had some visible damage behind the front wheel on the driver's side.
