Woodruff County wreck on U.S. 64 kills 2

PATTERSON — Arkansas State Police say two people are dead after an early-morning wreck on U.S. 64 in Woodruff County.

Officials say 19-year-old Logan Galloway and 31-year-old Sterlin Smith, both of Garner, were killed in the 6 a.m. Thursday crash near Patterson.

The police report states Galloway was eastbound on the highway when his pickup truck collided head-on with a westbound tractor-trailer.

The big rig's driver, 46-year-old Terry Davis of Walnut Ridge, was injured.

The report states it was raining at the time of the accident.
