Little Rock to hold free grant-writing class

The city of Little Rock will hold a free grant-writing class for residents in June.

The class, designed for novice grant writers at small nonprofit organizations, will cover organizational readiness, planning, grant design and finding appropriate grant opportunities, and will include an introduction to evidence-based programs. the city said. Available for all city employees, residents, nonprofit agencies, sub-grant recipients and neighborhood associations, the class is hosted by the city’s Grants Management Division.

The class will be held from 8:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. June 14 at the Willie Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center, 3805 12th St.

The city said class size is limited, and participants must register by calling Larra Bender at (501) 371-4867 or emailing her at lbender@littlerock.org.
