The bride is the daughter of Rita and Stuart Carl Vess of Scott. She is the granddaughter of Carl and the late Florence Vess of Little Rock and the late Eileen and Howard Anderson of Springdale.
Parents of the groom are Patricia Perry Wilson and the late Michael Evans Wilson of Wilson. His grandparents are Mildred Paine Wilson and the late R.E.L. Wilson III, also of Wilson, and the late Mary and James L. Perry of Danville, Va.
The altar held an arrangement of white larkspur, peach stock and tulips, peach and coral roses and red orchids. Music was by organist Barbara Lusk.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an off-white gown of English net over Italian satin embellished with Alencon and Venise lace and pearl and crystal beading. The bodice had a sweetheart neckline and dropped waist, and the skirt extended to a semi-cathedral-length train. Her fingertip-length illusion veil was edged with silver beading and beaded Venise lace. She carried a clutch bouquet of white hydrangeas, peach stock, peach and coral roses, red orchids, coral peonies and cotton bolls.
Lindsey Lee Chance of Little Rock was matron of honor. She wore a gold lace dress and carried a bouquet similar to the bride's.
Flower girl and ring bearer were Ali Foster and Charles Dwayne Foster III, both of North Little Rock.
Edward O. Walker of Little Rock was best man. Guests were seated by Andrew Vess of North Little Rock, brother of the bride, and Tyne Brownlow of Memphis.
A reception at the Country Club of Little Rock followed the ceremony. Some of the guest tables were decorated with topiary arrangements made of birch branches topped with larkspur, hydrangeas, tulips, roses, orchids, cotton bolls and lighted branches while other tables held low arrangements of wedding flowers. Music was by the Memphis Soul Revue. Assisting was Natalie Wilson Brownlow.
The bride has a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is a clerk for the North Little Rock District Court.
The groom has bachelor's degrees in English and political science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and a juris doctorate from the UALR Bowen School of Law. He is a lawyer at Barber Law Firm.
The couple will live in Little Rock after a Caribbean honeymoon.
