State highway officials will hold three public meetings this week about plans to improve U.S. 82 between Texarkana and Lake Village.
The meetings are set the following times and locations:
• 4-7 p.m. Tuesday: Holiday Inn Express & Suites meeting room, 5210 Crossroads Parkway, Texarkana.
• 4-7 p.m. Wednesday: El Dorado City Council Chambers, 204 Northwest Ave., El Dorado.
• 4-7 p.m. Thursday: Economic Development Building, 125 Main St., Crossett.
The public is invited to visit anytime during those scheduled hours to see displays and offer comments, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said. More information is available by calling the department’s Environmental Division at (501) 569-2281.
