An unidentified man robbed a Russellville tobacco store at gunpoint, escaping with cash but apologizing for scaring the clerk before he fled.

Police on Friday released video of the Nov. 14 robbery at Tobacco Row on East 4th Street in the hopes someone might recognize the assailant. No arrests have been made.

In the video, the gunman is seen entering the store and telling two customers he doesn't want their money and to "take off." He then demands cash from the register, which the clerk provides before stepping away in tears.

"I'm sorry I scared you ma'am," the gunman says after taking an undisclosed amount of cash. "You hear me? Have a good day."

No one was injured.
