Clinton to tour state, stump for Democrats

Former President Bill Clinton will crisscross Arkansas early next week to campaign for Democratic candidates.

Clinton will begin his tour Monday with a rally at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway on the Old Main Lawn at 11 a.m., followed by a 3 p.m. stop at Arkansas State University-Jonesboro on the student center lawn. Gov. Mike Beebe is scheduled to join Clinton at ASU.

Tuesday, Clinton will begin his tour with a rally at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville at the Student Union plaza at 10:30 a.m. He'll hold another event in Rogers at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center on South Pinnacle Hills Parkway at 1:30 p.m.

All of the rallies are free and open to the public, but tickets are required. Tickets are available at the Little Rock, west Little Rock and Conway Democratic Arkansas Victory 2014 offices as well as the UCA Student Center for the Conway event; at the ASU Pavilion and the Jonesboro Democratic Arkansas Victory 2014 office for the Jonesboro event; at the Fayetteville Democratic Arkansas Victory 2014 office and the Arkansas Union at Fayetteville for the Fayetteville event, and at the Rogers Democratic Arkansas Victory 2014 office for the Rogers event.
