The Conversations w/ Arkansas Governors series will kick off with its first guest, former Democrat Gov. David Pryor, on Saturday.
The series -- which hopes to include conversations with Pryor and former Govs. Dale Bumpers, Bill Clinton, Jim Guy Tucker and Mike Huckabee as well as current Gov. Mike Beebe -- will delve into the statesmen's achievements and their thoughts on the future for Arkansans and Americans.
The event, being run by entertainment company emmc LLC and the Central Arkansas Library System, will be held at the Ron Robinson Theater located at 100 River Market Ave. in Little Rock.
Tucker is scheduled for Oct. 18, and Huckabee is scheduled for Oct. 26. Dates for Bumpers,
Beebe and Clinton have yet to be finalized.
Following each event, the library system will sponsor a reception.
