FORT SMITH — Fort Smith police have arrested two suspects connected to a shooting that killed one man and critically injured his brother.
The Southwest Times Record reported that a 22-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were arrested Tuesday. They are still searching for another 15-year-old boy in connection to the Saturday slaying of 35-year-old Christopher Morris.
Police say the shooting occurred after a victim grabbed a shotgun following a verbal altercation.
All three are suspected of first-degree battery. Police say a SWAT team arrested the man without incident and the 15-year-old turned himself in.
Authorities described the injured man's condition as stable Tuesday. They haven't released his name.
