Police responded shortly before 3 a.m. July 27 to Brenda McKinney's home in the 2300 block of Brown Street. She told police that James Jackson had forced his way inside the residence, held a gun to her head and threatened to kill her, according to a court affidavit. Jackson reportedly fled before officers arrived.

Police returned to the residence about four hours later after being called by Nikita Bowman, McKinney's live-in cousin. Bowman told officers that Jackson had returned to the home and tried to force his way inside again before he walked across the street and fired about 10 shots at the residence, the affidavit says.

The home was struck several times. One bullet struck a vehicle parked in the driveway.

No injuries were reported.

Bowman told police that Jackson, 22, had lived in the neighborhood for about six years and that he frequently hung out across the street from her home.

Police were again called to the home Aug. 8 after Bowman reported that Jackson, while driving by, had rolled down his window and aimed an unknown weapon at her.

Little Rock District Court issued arrest warrants for Jackson on Sept. 19. He was arrested Monday at his girlfriend's home in the 4300 block of West 11th Street.

Jackson, of 2612 S. Van Buren St., was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, aggravated residential burglary, two counts of second-degree terroristic threatening and two counts of committing a terroristic act.

He was being held in the Pulaski County jail in lieu of $30,000 bond late Tuesday.

Price, whom police identified as a 23-year-old student at the university, was arrested. No injuries were reported.

Further circumstances of the incident were unclear.

Price, of Little Rock, was charged with second-degree terroristic threatening and resisting arrest. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bond at the Pulaski County jail late Tuesday.
