Police spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said an arrest warrant on two counts of capital murder had been issued for convicted felon Ray Davis Jr., 32.

Investigators connected Davis to the deaths of Charity Hall and David Murphy, whose bodies were found in the early morning Aug. 29 inside a residence at 2607 S. Spring St.

The Little Rock Fire Department responded to a small fire at the home about 3:49 a.m., according to a police report. Emergency personnel quickly extinguished the fire and found the bodies of Hall, 29, and Murphy, 41.

Allen said their deaths immediately seemed "suspicious" to investigators. The medical examiner's office ruled the deaths homicides later that morning.

Police had not released further details on the case late Tuesday.

A detailed description of Davis was unavailable.
