Third suspect in Benton bank robbery arrested in Texas

A third suspect in a June bank robbery in Benton was arrested Tuesday in Texas, police say.

Oneida Saylor, 35, was arrested in the June 16 robbery of Malvern National Bank at 1111 Military Road in Benton, Benton Police Department spokesman Lt. Kevin Russell said in a statement.

Russell said Saylor was apprehended by U.S. marshals, but the specific town in Texas where she was arrested was unknown.

A warrant was issued for Saylor’s arrest last week on charges of aggravated robbery and theft of property, Arkansas Online previously reported.

The other two suspects in the robbery, Rodney and Stephanie Hurdsman, 45 and 39, respectively, were arrested Monday in Louisiana.

The Hurdsmans are currently listed on the Caddo Parish sheriff’s office’s inmate roster. All three are awaiting extradition back to Arkansas.
