Police: Food stolen from Arkansas delivery truck

JONESBORO — Police in Arkansas are searching for whoever stole nearly $1,000 worth of food from a Frito-Lay delivery truck.

The Jonesboro Sun reports the theft was reported about 8 p.m. Monday. Jonesboro police say the truck was parked inside a fenced-in Frito-Lay sales facility, located at 5861 Arkansas 1 South. Peanuts, chips, popcorn, cheese dip and salsa were reported stolen from the vehicle.

The delivery driver tells police the doors of the truck had been jammed before the theft and couldn't be locked.

Police say there was no damage to the fence, a lock on the gate or the truck. They say whoever is responsible faces charges of felony breaking or entering and misdemeanor theft.
