Counsel for NFL union to talk in LR

Joe Briggs, the public-policy counsel and government relations manager for the NFL Players Association, will speak Monday at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock.

Briggs, who is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., will lecture about the entanglements of policy and professional sports and how the country and sports have shaped each other.
