A man was arrested Sunday after purportedly shooting at a woman at her North Little Rock home, according to a police report.

The victim, Cissy Speers, told police that Antonio Rivera, 21, banged on her front door Sunday afternoon at 5009 N. Walnut St. He then pulled out a pistol and pointed it at her head as she leaned out the kitchen window, according to the report.

Speers told police that Rivera fired two shots toward her. Police found one round lodged into the window frame, according to the report.

Police found Rivera behind Speers' apartment building. He was arrested and booked into the Pulaski County jail about 1 p.m. on charges of aggravated assault and a terroristic act. His bail was set at $50,000, and he remained on the jail's roster late Sunday.

Police tackle man accused in robbery

A North Little Rock man arrested Saturday is accused of robbing a man at gunpoint, running from police and resisting arrest, according to a police report.

Anthony Harlston of North Little Rock told police that a man in a black hoodie pointed a small handgun at his face and demanded all of his money. Harlston refused, and the gunman took off running east from 4423 E. Broadway toward Boyer Street in North Little Rock, according to the report.

After a brief foot chase, police tackled and arrested 22-year-old Markkeys Harris at 501 Prothro St.

Harris was purportedly found with marijuana and a .38-caliber revolver.

He was booked into Pulaski County jail on charges of aggravated assault, possession of a controlled substance, possession of firearms by a convicted felon, fleeing and resisting arrest. He remained on the jail's roster late Sunday. His bail had not been set.

58-year-old held in LR hammer attack

A Little Rock man was arrested Friday over accusations that he hit another man with a hammer and poked him in the eye, according to police.

Jessie Armstrong, 58, was arrested at his home at 603 E. 23rd St. about 3:45 p.m. on a second-degree battery warrant.

Police issued the warrant after identifying Armstrong as the suspect who hit 50-year-old Harold Hatton in the back of the head with a hammer, according to a police report.

Armstrong was booked into Pulaski County jail, and his bail was set at $4,000. He remained on the jail's roster late Sunday.
