Since it’s the season of the “boo!” experience when late October and Halloween creep into view, the Arkansas Repertory Theatre’s producing artistic director, Robert Hupp, decided it would be a good time to throw a scare into patrons, Jack W. Hill writes in Thursday's Arkansas Weekend section.
“It’s been a long time since the Rep has done a thriller,” he says. “And we decided Wait Until Dark would be a worthy choice. It’s known as a really tense film, but before that it was a play, directed by Arthur Penn, which opened in 1966. Frederick Knott wrote it, and it starred Lee Remick and Robert Duvall."
