Rep reveals 'Dark' side

Since it’s the season of the “boo!” experience when late October and Halloween creep into view, the Arkansas Repertory Theatre’s producing artistic director, Robert Hupp, decided it would be a good time to throw a scare into patrons, Jack W. Hill writes in Thursday's Arkansas Weekend section.

“It’s been a long time since the Rep has done a thriller,” he says. “And we decided Wait Until Dark would be a worthy choice. It’s known as a really tense film, but before that it was a play, directed by Arthur Penn, which opened in 1966. Frederick Knott wrote it, and it starred Lee Remick and Robert Duvall."
