A fire caused significant damage to a house on Scott Hamilton Road early Wednesday.
Firefighters responded to the home north of Baseline Road about 6:40 a.m. after a report of flames shooting out a window.
The home appeared to suffer significant damage, including large burn marks around the front door. A Little Rock Fire Department spokesman said the Red Cross was called to offer aid for two occupants.
There were no preliminary reports of injuries and the cause wasn't yet known.
Scott Hamilton Road was blocked in both directions for some time.
