Two lanes of westbound Interstate 630 in Little Rock were at a standstill Thursday morning after a truck spilled gravel in the road, highway officials said.

The spill, which occurred about 10 a.m. near exit 5 for University Avenue, had traffic backed up for nearly two miles to Cedar Street.

It wasn't immediately known what caused the spill.

Highway crews reopened the lanes about 11 a.m. The Arkansas Online live traffic map showed clear traffic through the area as of 11:20 a.m.
