Pulaski County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man they say pointed a gun at a woman in a dispute about money.

Deputies were dispatched at 12:48 a.m. to 3612 E. 38th St. in College Station over “a disturbance with a firearm,” according to a Pulaski County sheriff’s office report.

There, deputies spoke with a woman who said Eugene Foley, 58, “pulled a gun, pointed it at me and threatened to kill me and my family” because he was mad at her and another man because they owed him money, the report states. She told deputies he went to his room and returned to her room with a silver gun with a white handle, which he pointed at her, according to the report. As he left her room, she ran outside and called police, deputies said.

Deputies found Foley on the front porch as he was leaving the home and arrested him without incident. Deputies recovered from a back bedroom a silver handgun that had been reported stolen, according to the report.

Foley has been charged with aggravated assault, theft by receiving, possession of firearms by a certain person and second-degree terroristic threatening, according to the sheriff’s office. His bail has not yet been set.
