A man was shot Wednesday afternoon inside a southwest Little Rock restaurant, police say.
Little Rock Police Department Lt. Steve Thomas said the shooting occurred at 4:55 p.m. inside the KFC restaurant at 8220 Geyer Springs Road. Witnesses said two black men entered the restaurant, and one of them fired three to four shots at a man who was eating. The assailants then fled the scene, possibly in a silver truck, Thomas said.
Thomas said the victim was transported to UAMS Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
It wasn't immediately known whether the shooter or accomplice knew the victim.
