Parolee charged in rape of ex-girlfriend

A Little Rock man is accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend's home and raping her less than a month after he was released on parole.

Curtis Atori McMillon, 32, was arrested Wednesday on charges of rape and burglary. He remained in the Pulaski County jail Thursday morning with bail not yet set.

According to a Little Rock Police Department arrest report, the victim reported awakening to find McMillon standing over her bed. He then raped her before leaving the home, authorities said.

The report says McMillon was arrested about 2:10 p.m. in the 12600 block of Chenal Parkway.

McMillon is on standard parole in the Little Rock district through 2018, according to online records. Arkansas Department of Correction spokesman Shea Wilson said he was released on parole on Aug. 18.

Court records show previous convictions in Pulaski County on charges including robbery, aggravated assault, theft by receiving and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
