Westbound Interstate 30 traffic was delayed for more than two hours Tuesday afternoon after an accident near the Baseline Road exit.
Danny Straessle, spokesman for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, said the collision occurred sometime after 2 p.m. near the Baseline Road entrance ramp to Interstate 30 westbound. It was also near a highway department work zone, where workers are constructing a new exit ramp to Otter Creek, he said.
Arkansas State Police spokesman Bill Sadler said state troopers were on the scene, but he was unable to confirm whether anyone was injured as of 3:20 p.m.
At least one lane was blocked for more than an hour following the accident, but Straessle said all had reopened as of 3:30 p.m.
It wasn't immediately clear how many vehicles were involved in the accident.
