Police responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 9:44 p.m. at the complex, located at 1221 Reservoir Road in Little Rock.

According to a police report, Jarvis Milton, 20, was shot while seated inside a Dodge Charger in a parking lot outside the complex, located at 1221 Reservoir Road in Little Rock. According to the report, Milton's vehicle then struck another vehicle, which then struck a third vehicle.

Witnesses at the scene Monday night said three males, two of whom had handguns, had approached Milton's vehicle before shots were fired. The three males, plus an additional male, fled the scene in a red Chevrolet Impala after the shooting, investigators said.

Milton was transported by ambulance to St. Vincent Infirmary and was listed in critical but stable condition Tuesday, Little Rock Police spokesman Cassandra Davis said.

Davis said officers interviewed people in the area after responding to the emergency call, but they weren't able to interview Milton Monday night because of the extent of his injuries. Davis said Tuesday morning that investigators would attempt to interview Milton later in the day to "develop a suspect based on information Mr. Milton will hopefully be able to provide."
