Brothers charged in February homicide

Two Little Rock brothers were arrested Thursday and charged with capital murder after information provided to detectives connected them to a February homicide, police say.

James Thomas III, 21, and Dijaun Thomas, 19, were arrested at 1:50 p.m. in the homicide of John Allen, 29, who was killed in February, Little Rock Police Department Sgt. Cassandra Davis said in an email.

Both men were already in custody at the Pulaski County jail on unrelated charges, she said.

Police say Allen was found slumped over in the front seat of his car Feb. 6 at 5800 Stagecoach Road, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported.
