MovieStyle: Goo goo ba joob

Say what you will about Kevin Smith, he’s never been about putting out generic B-movies. His latest, Tusk, is a gloss on the old Hammer Gothic horror movies of the ’50 and ’60s and it's about a lonely sailor's quest to turn Justin Long into his walrus companion. Our Philip Martin has seen it (and can never un-see it). His thoughts are in this week's MovieStyle.

Martin also holds forth on The Last of Robin Hood, which chronicles the final affair of the swashbuckling cad Errol Flynn (Kevin Kline). Meanwhile, Piers Marchant deconstructs the latest Liam Neeson revenge picture, A Walk Among The Tombstones, and recaps the recent Toronto International Film Festival.

In other news, Dan Lybarger checks in with a report on This is Where I Leave You, and this week’s young adult adaptation, The Maze Runner, also opens. Plus, we've got Karen Martin on this week's home video releases.
