Woman robbed in River Market alley

A 24-year-old Little Rock woman was pushed to the ground, kicked and robbed Wednesday night in an alley behind a River Market bar, police said.

The victim told investigators she was in the alley behind the business where she works, the Flying Saucer at 323 E. President Clinton Ave., about 9:10 p.m. when two men ran up and pushed her down, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

One of the men then kicked her while the other removed cash and her iPhone from her pocket, police said. The two assailants, along with two other men and a woman who were with them, then ran south on River Market Avenue.

Police say the victim was not injured.

The robbers are described as black men who appeared to be 17 to 20 years old and stood 5-foot-9. One wore a black and yellow shirt, and the other wore a red shirt and had a short afro hairdo with a comb in it, the report said.

No arrests have been made.
