BOSSIER PARKWAY (LA.) 41, TEXARKANA 14

BOSSIER CITY, La. — A trio of Bossier Parkway (La.) tailbacks, Stacy McCray, William McKnight and Demetrius McAtee, combined for 34 points in Parkway’s lopsided victory over Texarkana (2-1) at Preston Crownover Stadium.

McKnight scored two touchdowns and threw for another. McCray also scored twice and tallied 78 all-purpose yards. McAtee caught a touchdown and connected on 5-of-6 extra points.

Quarterback Keondre Wudtee threw for 140 yards and two touchdowns. Artravious Lynn hauled in four passes for a game-high 63 passing yards and a score.

Texarkana was led by running back Torrean Gaither, who rushed for 55 yards and 1 touchdown. Quadarius Cheatham followed up with 47 yards on the ground.

JONESBORO 45, BATESVILLE 31

JONESBORO — Three different Jonesboro players scored in the third quarter to help it pull away from a halftime tie.

Tied 21-21 at halftime, Brian Mitchell scored on a 12-yard run to put the Hurricane (2-1) up 28-21, then Kedren Brunson caught a 19-yard pass from Carson Coats and Deavon Binion scored on a 14-yard run to put them up 42-21.

Batesville’s Osvoldo Espericueta kicked a 47-yard field goal to get within 42-24, but Will Brandt kicked a 23-yard field goal for Jonesboro.

Carson Coats completed 12 of 19 passes for 191 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Darren Beasley carried 12 times for 105 yards for the Hurricane.

Justin Gallant caught touchdown passes of 74 and 13 yards for Batesville (2-1) in the second quarter.
