Lakewood United Methodist Church was the setting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, for the marriage of Heather Ann Lindsey and Jarrod Patrick Haney. The mother of the bride officiated.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Cindy Henry of North Little Rock and Gordon Lindsey of Houston. Her grandparents are Carol "Coach" and the late Saville Henry of North Little Rock and Peggy and the late Charlie Lindsey of Little Rock.

Pat and James Haney of Searcy are the parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Donald and the late Helen Haney of Searcy and the late Essie Mae and Marson Yates of Midwest City, Okla.

Vases of hydrangeas and silver branches decorated the altar. Music was by organist Barbara Lusk and soloist Erin Green.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory tulle gown embellished with crystal beaded lace. The skirt extended from a beaded belt at the waist to a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of plum dahlias, purple tulips and eggplant-colored miniature calla lilies.

Matron of honor was Jennifer Thomas of Fayetteville. Bridesmaids were Sarah Gladstone of Little Rock and Katie Bunzel of Van Buren. They wore gowns of plum satin with strapless sweetheart bodices and carried bouquets of white hydrangeas.

Flower girls were Laiken Lindsey of Houston, sister of the bride, and Ella Marter and Kate Marter, both of Searcy and nieces of the groom.

Derek Cypert of Searcy was best man. Groomsmen were Jake Cypert of Searcy and Jarrod Staggs of Jonesboro.

Ushers were Tyler Lindsey of North Little Rock, brother of the bride, and Wes Marter of Searcy.

A reception at Argenta Community Theater in North Little Rock followed the ceremony. Tables were covered with black cloths and silver and plum runners. Center pieces alternated between white helium-filled balloons and tall clear vases filled with hydrangeas. During the cocktail hour, piano music was by Joe Marchese.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in information systems from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is a training coordinator at Lindsey Software.

The groom is employed with Bryce Corp.

After a wedding trip to Playa Mujeres, Mexico, the couple will live in Searcy.
