A Little Rock man was shot in the cheek Saturday in an Asher Avenue parking lot, police say.

A Little Rock Police Department report states that officers responded to 4800 Asher Ave. about 9:32 p.m. after a caller told dispatchers that he had heard one shot in the area and that he saw a man wearing all black and holding a gun, standing next to a food truck, according to the report.

While on the scene, officers were told that a shooting victim, identified as Nicholas Mosley, 23, had been taken to UAMS Medical Center.

Mosley said he was shot at 4800 Asher Ave., where blood droplets were found "directly in front of the food truck," the report states.

Witness Kahalleelah Muhammad, 65, told police that she heard a gunshot and heard a woman scream, “What the f*** did you do?,” according to the report.

She said she saw a group of people near a silver Chevy Malibu, which someone moved from in front of the food truck to around the side of a nearby building, the report states. Muhammad then said four people got into a silver Toyota Camry and quickly left the parking lot, the report states.

Officers found on the scene a 2006 silver Chevy Malibu with a gunshot through the rear driver's-side window and blood inside, according to the report.

Mosley told officers at the hospital that he was inside the vehicle when “all of a sudden he got shot,” the report states. Mosley’s injuries were non-life-threatening, and no arrests have been made.
