El Dorado plant to expand, add 120 jobs

The Arkansas Economic Development Commission announced Tuesday that an El Dorado plant is planning to add 120 jobs as it expands its existing facility.

Clean Harbors, located at 309 American Circle, specializes in the treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes by high-temperature incineration.

Scott Hardin, spokesman for the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, said the company is investing more than $120 million in the expansion of the existing facility.

The new jobs at Clean Harbors will average a salary of about $60,000 a year, Hardin said.
