Man threatens 'something bad' if pharmacy doesn't turn over drugs, report says

A man told employees at a Little Rock pharmacy that "something bad" would happen if they didn't hand over drugs through the drive-thru Wednesday, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

The man, identified by authorities as 27-year-old Taylor Cooper Lewis of Lonsdale, was later arrested on a charge of aggravated robbery.

Employees at the Express RX pharmacy at 7612 Cantrell Road told investigators a man drove into the drive-thru about 6 p.m., demanded drugs and said "you have 30 seconds or something bad will happen," the report said.

The employees retreated into the business safe and heard the front door open, police said. According to the report, video shows Lewis "inside the store."

Lewis, who was arrested about 6:15 p.m. in the 3800 block of Cantrell Road, denied responsibility for the crime, the report added.

He remained in the Pulaski County jail Thursday morning with bail not yet set.
