Fayetteville will roar with the sounds of motorcycles as bikers from all over gather for Bikes, Blues & BBQ through Saturday. 2 Ballet, etc.

The inaugural Acansa Arts Festival -- a collaboration between central Arkansas music, theater, dance and arts organizations with a sprinkling of out-of-town performers, continues through Sunday at various Little Rock and North Little Rock venues. 3 Begin with Brahms

The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra kicks off a new season in a new venue with a new Saturday start time -- 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Maumelle Performing Arts Center, Maumelle High School, 100 Victory Lane. Pianist Andrew Staupe will solo in Sergei Rachmaninoff"s Piano Concerto No. 2; Music Director Philip Mann will also conduct the Promenade Overture by ASO Composer of the Year John Corigliano and the Symphony No. 2 by Johannes Brahms. 4 Bogguss

5 Barn sale

More than 180 vendors and artists from all over the country will be showing off traditional crafts and contemporary styles -- including handcrafted wooden pieces, ceramics, paintings, floral arrangements, handmade clothing, jewelry, stained glass and one-of-a-kind toys -- under massive old oak trees at the 46th annual Camden Business and Professional Women's Organization Barn Sale, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Oakland and Monticello streets, Camden. 6 Ballads

7 Brew

The Little Rock Zoo, 1 Zoo Drive, plays host to two big events this weekend -- one for adults only, another for the whole family:

• The over-21 crowd can spend some quality time with the animals while sipping craft beers, listening to music and chowing down on food from the Pie Hole, Southern Gourmasian and Waffle Wagon at Zoo Brew, 6-9 p.m. today. Tickets are $25. Call (501) or visit littlerockzoo.com.

8 Been around ...

People 55 and older will find plenty of help, advice and entertainment designed just for them at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette's Arkansas Senior Expo, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at the Statehouse Convention Center, Markham and Main streets, Little Rock. The expo includes health screenings, technology guidance, doctor panels, gardening tips with Chris Olsen, a car show and a performance by Elvis impersonator Matt Joyce. Admission is free. 9 Beer & brats

There's a quarter mile of beer and a full bratwurst dinner for the tasting as the Central Arkansas Fermenters celebrate fall, German-style, at Little Rocktoberfest, which features home-brewed and commercial beers, music and an SEC football game on the Jumbotron, 6 p.m. Saturday at War Memorial Stadium, West Markham Street and Fair Park Boulevard, Little Rock. 10 Bridge

Central Arkansas streets and roads will be taken over by two-wheeled traffic for the annual Big Dam Bridge 100 bicycle ride on Saturday. The rides (in distances of 13, 20, 50, 68 and 100 miles) all start at LaHarpe Boulevard and Chester Street, Little Rock, at 7 or 7:30 a.m., depending on ride length, and end with a finish-line party on Main Street in North Little Rock.
