Tommie Ice, 24, of Little Rock and Thomas Caffrey, 42, of Mabelvale each pleaded innocent to charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine and use of a telephone to facilitate a drug-trafficking crime. Ice also pleaded innocent to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute crack cocaine.

A trial date of Oct. 27 was scheduled for the men. They were being held in the Pulaski County jail late Thursday.

Ice and Caffrey were among 25 people -- including one in Georgia and one in Texas -- charged in the 62-count federal grand jury indictment, which was unsealed Sept. 16. The indictment states that Freddie Brewster, 30, led the group in distributing large amounts of marijuana, cocaine and crack cocaine from his auto shop in southwest Little Rock.

On Thursday, all but two indicted in the case -- Rachel Lewis of Atlanta and Christian White of Mesquite, Texas -- had appeared in U.S. District Court in Little Rock and pleaded innocent to drug-related charges.
