Kameron Bradley, 29, of 1719 Beech St. in North Little Rock, was charged with first-degree murder. On Feb. 18, 2012, police said that Bradley killed Theodis Jones, 32, while Jones was waiting to catch a bus at the 4700 block of Augusta Circle in North Little Rock.

Bradley was on parole after being released from prison in 2010 and had an active warrant for his arrest when he is suspected of killing Jones.

Police found Jones about 6:30 a.m. on Feb. 18, 2012, with at least one gunshot wound in his chest. He died on his way to the hospital. About $3,000 was found in Jones' pockets.

A warrant for Bradley's arrest was ordered by Pulaski County District Judge Wayne Gruber on Dec. 21, 2011, after Bradley failed to appear in traffic court. That warrant, however, was not served until Feb. 22, 2012 -- four days after Jones' death.

Bradley was initially sentenced to prison in 2004 on a count each of aggravated robbery and aggravated assault. He has been in and out of prison on parole violations since.

Bradley was released on parole Friday morning from the Grimes Unit, department spokesman Shea Wilson said.

He was then detained at the prison until North Little Rock police arrested him later that morning in the slaying of Jones.

Bradley is being held in Pulaski County jail; no bail has been set. He has a court hearing Tuesday morning.
