Boscos in LR closes after 11 years of business

Boscos Restaurant & Brewing Co. has closed its doors in downtown Little Rock, company officials said Monday.

"We appreciate your years of support and invite you to visit us whenever you're in Memphis, TN," the company said in an email.

Joshua Quattlebaum, who worked as the restaurant's brewmaster manager in Little Rock, said on his Facebook page that he was "deeply saddened" by the closing.

"Some of my best years have been spent within those four walls," he wrote. "I have made some of the deepest and closest friends over these past 5 years. To all of my Boscos family, past and present: Words cannot express how grateful and honored I am to have worked with each and every one of you; I doubt I will even find friends and coworkers of the same caliber anywhere else. I love you all so very much. All good things must come to and end, so they say, but this too shall pass, and I wish all of you the best of luck, and want to reassure you that you will always have a friends in me."

The Little Rock restaurant's closure comes about a week after the Memphis-based company closed its Nashville location. Boscos has been at its River Market District location at 500 President Clinton Ave. since 2003.
