WEST MEMPHIS — Transportation company Federal Express has announced its providing $250,000 to Mid-South Community College in West Memphis.
FedEx and college officials said Tuesday that the donation will be used to support an FAA-certified Aviation Maintenance Technology training program. The college plans to build a program-specific facility to increase the number of students it can train.
The building will be named the FedEx Aviation Technology Center.
