Springdale man sentenced for child porn possession

A Springdale man was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years in prison and 10 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to knowingly possessing child pornography, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Conner Eldridge.

Alan Berger, 47, had images of minors engaging in sexual activity stored on an external hard drive that was seized by investigators in 2012, according to the news release.

Berger had previously been convicted of enticement of minors to engage in sexual activity, according to the news release.
