William Groboski, whose age and address weren't available, admitted Wednesday to U.S. District Judge Susan Webber Wright that he allowed a minor to participate in the production of child pornography from June of 2009 through June of 2012. At the time, the girl was younger than 12.

The crime is punishable by a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years in federal prison, where parole isn't available. Although a plea agreement negotiated by federal prosecutors and defense attorney Nicole Lybrand of the federal public defender's office called for a sentence of 210 months, or 17 1/2 years, Wright chose to impose a sentence of 262 months, or just shy of 22 years.

Further details weren't available on Wednesday.
