A wreck on southbound Interstate 430 caused major traffic delays after a sport utility vehicle flipped onto its top.

Arkansas State Police said Thursday afternoon that they continue to investigate the wreck, which happened about 7:15 a.m. south of Rodney Parham Road.

A GMC Terrain driven by Robert Beardsley of Hot Springs was hit from the rear by a vehicle driven by Deborah Williams of Little Rock, state police spokesman Bill Sadler said. The sport utility vehicle hit a third vehicle and came to rest on its top in the highway's center lane.

"No information is currently available with regard to medical conditions of those involved in the crash," Sadler said.

By 8 a.m., the wreck had been cleared from the scene, and all lanes of traffic had reopened.
